Resiniferatoxin

Resiniferatoxin is a natural analog of capsaicin isolated from some plants of the genus Euphorbia, including E. resinifera. Resiniferatoxin modulates the Th1 immune response and protects the host during intestinal nematode infection. Intraluminal Administration of Resiniferatoxin Protects against <i>Clostridium difficile</i> Toxin A-Induced Colitis.
